A selective and successful week with two good winners from the four advised.

‘At this transitional stage of the year, accurate pricing is a test with so many variable factors to consider on both the flat and summer jumps. Plenty making seasonal reappearances, various debuts and going over new distances. However, things will settle down and I can then steadily increase turnover towards further profit building.

A profitable and informative week just gone, particularly with the top class meetings at York and Newbury. That quality on the flat continues during the week ahead with good cards from Sandown, Goodwood, Haydock and York. Plus there are summer jumps fixtures every day.

I will also be keeping a close watch on the Irish Guineas meeting from the Curragh.

Unsettled weather pattern for the opening part of next week with some areas getting quite heavy rainfall. The weekend looks calmer.
