No guesswork. I price
up every race of interest to me to a 100% book that is without the bookmaker's
profit margin. For example, when advising you to lay a horse, you get the generally
available lay price and my odds, which will be higher. This gives you the parameters
required for the lay and prevents the often fatal betting practice of 'laying
blind'.
- No
misleading betting practices.
As has been the case since I started the service in January 1995: My bets are
your bets. Therefore I do not advise bets just to produce glossy statistics for
advertising purposes. For example, advising lays on long shots that build up a
seemingly impressive high strike rate but carry the fatal risk of destroying the
bank if only one or two in a year happen to win. As a professional, my emphasis
is on consistent profit building over the longer term.
- No fantasy
account prices. On the profit account, we use the general prices available
to all members. Not the very biggest price which only a few would obtain. Honesty
and integrity are important to me.
- No dubious staking practices.
We recommend a fifty unit bank for each service. All bets are clearly staked
within an easily defined staking range.
